Have a week off from school?  Had your fill of hiking and swimming?  Stuck inside due to the rain (gotta rain at some point, right?), but don’t feel like dropping a ton of money on a new game?

Check out a video game at the Newton Free Library.  Located on the third floor by the DVDs.

We have the following games for Xbox 360 and PS3

Play Mario Kart on the Big Screen @ Newton Free Library on Thurs 8/5!

29 Jul

Join us for a special Teen Video Gaming Event on Thurs. Aug. 5th from 2-5 pm.  This program is for Grade 6 & up. We’ll be holding a Mario Kart (on the Wii) tournament, projecting the game onto our big screen in the Druker Auditorium in the Newton Free Library.  We’ll also have 2 XBox 360s going simultaneously in the back of the auditorium, where you and your friends can play other games while you wait your turn in the tournament.

Please come by 2:15 if you would like to join the Mario Kart Tournament, so that we can set up the brackets.  No other sign-up necessary!  If you have questions you can call 617-796-1380 and ask for Susan or Laurie.

Don’t miss the fun of playing on a huge screen — See You There!
