Teen Essay Writing Contest!

One of the database we get (p4A Antiques Reference) is holding an essay writing contest! The first prize is valued at over $1,000 and includes a Nook Color e-reader, Barnes & Noble gift card and subscriptions to all of the websites, newspapers and catalogs produced by our sponsors! Contest begins June 15th, 2012 and entries may be submitted through August 15, 2012.

You have to write an essay on one of the following topics (vampire-killing kit?!?!):

~ an ancient mummified bird
~ a painting of Indians by Frank Tenney Johnson
~ an authentic vampire-killing kit
~ a pair of cased revolvers having belonged to Civil War General Benjamin Brice
~ an 18th-century Philadelphia chair
~ a 19th-century doll carved from a bedpost
