Money 101

2 Nov

Thinking about…

  • Getting a job?
  • Buying a car?
  • Going to College?

Whether you are ready now or a few years away from earning a paycheck or making an important purchase, you will want to educate yourself on how best to manage your dollars.

The Newton Free Library is now offering a new program on personal money management called Financial Literacy at the Library.  Every month, a different topic will be covered: everything from how to choose the right bank account to credit cards to car loans.

Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in Druker Auditorium at the Newton Free Library.  Presentations will last about an hour and there will be plenty of time for all your questions.  The program is free and no registration is required.  Bring your friends!

The November 17th program will focus on Banking Services:  which is the best bank and the best account for you; the difference between debit cards and credit cards; telephone banking; online banking; direct deposit and much more!

  • Subscribe to the Newsletter for pre-program reminders.
